In the Words of the Rolling Stones, “Start Me Up”.
God has really been working on my heart recently about writing for Him! I guess that is why you are reading this very first posting on my brand new blog! I am super pumped about being able to give God glory through my writing, but I am also pumped about sharing my spiritual thoughts to those who care and even those who don’t care!
We know that Genesis 1:1 tells us, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth”. In Genesis chapter 2, we see the creation of the first man and woman. Isn’t it great to know that we have a creator who made the universe and us intentionally with a purpose? What is that purpose you may ask? We have been purposely put on this earth to worship our creator and bring Him glory! I know I have a long way to go in knowing God completely, in fact, I, nor anyone else will ever know him completely in our earthly lives, but one definite thing I have figured out about God, is that God’s creativity is limitless and infinite! If you don’t believe me, just do some “People Watching” next time you are out and about! Every person is different in some way. I don’t know about you, but it is hard for me to order something different everytime I go to Wendy’s (jr. bacon’s rock my face off!) I can’t even begin to fathom the wealth of creativity that our God possesses in order to make trillions of people all look, sound, smell, and feel different. The creativity of God is astounding and amazing, isn’t it?
My vision for the purpose and direction of this blog is identical to the vision God had with His creation. I can picture it like this, “In the beginning, Jack created his blog… and Jack saw that it was, SUPER COOL!” I am so pumped about this blog because I hope that my spiritual thoughts will be more than just an encouragement to people who read them, but that they would ultimately have the purpose to give praise and honor to Him who is due it all!
