Psalm 19:14
“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
These words written by David have been such a blessing to me today! They truly have kept my heart and mind on the things above and have quickened my spirit to keep certain priorities in place throughout the busyness of the day. I realize that the words I speak can either give life or they can destroy life. I choose to give life! I choose to please God through my conversations! I choose to edify the body of Christ! I choose to encourage! I choose to be positive! I choose to use my words to bring glory and honor to Jesus Christ! I also realize that man looks at the outside, but God looks at the heart! If the inner workings of my heart are not centered around the cause of Christ, then I am simply a prodigal. I choose to be a man of character and intergrity! I choose to be motivated to accomplishing the will of God in my life! I choose to be a man after God’s own heart! I choose to have the inner desires that long to please my heavenly Father!
I hope that these wonderful words from David will be a blessing to you in the same way they have been to me today.
