Starting next week, this ad will be plastered all over the metro buses in the Washington D.C. area. Have you looked at this close enough? I mean seriously, have you looked at this ad close enough? The purpose of this advertisement that will be seen by millions is to assist people in looking towards the “so-called” good in themselves and to ignore the whole reason we celebrate Christmas in the first place (Jesus). I was listening to an interview with one of the masterminds behind this ad and he said that their goal in producing this ad is to help people see that they don’t have to believe in God in order to find the good in their hearts during this season! I don’t know about your Bible, but my Bible tells me in Romans 3:12 “All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.” We might appear to be good on the outside because of nice things we do for others, but without Christ (THE REASON FOR THE SEASON) none of us are even close to being good! The words “human” and “good” shouldn’t even be put into the same sentece without the word “grace” plugged into the middle!
I know this is extremely tough to swallow, but I am convinced that this athiestic ad will not be the last one of it’s kind. As Christians, I think most of us believe that we truly are living in the last days and when you look at signs (pardon the pun) like these, it sure does make the end times seem a little more tangible.

That is a really disturbing ad. I can’t believe the audacity.
That is a disturbing ad…however ti should not surprise is that the enemy wants to squeeze any thoughts about God in any one person’s mind.
This was a good find …
One thing though, Christmas does not represent the birth of Jesus in true historical documents, only the changed history that was adopted and implemented by emperor constatine. Anyway, the true nature of Christmas is truly pagan and occultic. View a video here > http://sharingtruth.wordpress.com/2008/10/18/the-pagan-origin-of-christmas/.
You can also read a document here for more explaination > http://www.forgenerations.net/paganholidays/originofchristmas.html.
If we as believers and followers of Jesus Christ are speaking the truth to the people of this dark world, we need to be sure that it is line with scripture and not the traditions of this world.
Praise be to the Father in Heaven who gave us Jesus Christ to redeem us from this wicked world so that we may live eternally with Him in the Kingdom of God! Hallelujah!
Thanks for the post!

Jeremy,
Thank you for the great thoughts! I read the information on your website and have to admit, I wasn’t aware of some of the historical tracings prior to Constantine (very interesting). But there is not a question in my mind what Christmas means in our society today (post Constantine), the celebration of God making his home among us! Yes, there might be some past links to occultic practices and paganism, but I have to believe that most of the world today recognizes Christmas as the season of hope! This is what I was referring to when I spoke about the reason we celebrate Christmas is because of Jesus. But thank you very much for your comment and insightful thoughts!
This is the third time I’ve seen/hear this. It is a definite sign of our hearts growing cold and wanting God out of the picture. True goodness is now offensive. The persecution should begin and then Jesus comes.
Thanks Aaron for the perfect words! We must remember that the world’s insensitivity to God is going to get much worse before it ever gets any better! “Jesus take the wheel!”
