I was having a semi bad day sunday after church.. We took a trip up to the Powow (headsart tradition) when on our way there was a lady that had 3 young children in the car with her on the side of the rode.. She was yelling and seemed to be very stressed out.. i got out of the car and asked her if she needed any help, she tried to tell me she didnt but i sat there and kept the kids some company.. Here this was a very young mother who had been thrown out of her house with her kids had no money, nothing to eat for her nor her kids, no where to stay, and was very sweet.. i offered her to bring her and her kids for luch, (while we went to the gas station and got here 5 dollars in gas first). We took them to eat n park for lunch/dinner the kids where great and well behaved.. This young mother and i Talked about life and school and other interesting things to keep her mind off of losing just about everything.. I told her about places she could go for help and numbers to call. She was so thankful to just have a nice conversation with someone.. I know we spent more than that 10 dollars but it was well worth it… O yea and i also gave her one of my invite cards and invited her to church, she said if she could get her life together and situated she will come…What a nice Day it turned out to be….
